Four Areas of the Curriculum
From Fundamentals to Practical Skills

1. Human and Social Sciences Area

This area is made up of the four fields of Information Technology, Natural Language, Human Caring, and Systems and Society. Courses offered in this area give students a broad and in-depth understanding of humans and society.

2. Health Science Area

This area is made up of the two fields of Health Science and Pathology, and Advanced Medicine. Courses offered in this area give students an understanding of health of mind and body, pathology when health fails and the process of recovery from that illness.

3. Nursing Science Area

This area is made up the nine fields of Fundamental Nursing, Maternity Nursing / Midwifery, Geriatric Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Adult Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Home-care Nursing, Community Health Nursing, and Global Health. What to think of the human existence, what to think of the environment in which humans live their lives, what to think of human health, what to think of nursing in itself-these questions are approached from various angles in the courses of this area.

4. Integrated Area

This area comprises the field of Nursing and Medical Integration. Students with a foundation in the Human and Social Sciences Area and the Health Science Area survey the nine fields in the Nursing Science Area to examine once again "What is medical care?" and "What is nursing?"
